Daily Itinerary:
Day 1
North is the direction of travel for us today through the state of Wisconsin. You arrive in Door County by mid afternoon and your first activity will be admission to the Maritime Museum located on the very tip of the peninsula. The museum features the history of the fishing industry, exhibits on ship wrecks and even a restored tugboat. After checking into your hotel in Fish Creek for two nights, you have the remainder of the evening at leisure to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Day 2
Breakfast will be a treat today as we take you to Al Johnson’s unique restaurant where you might see goats grazing on the roof. A full day of touring with a local guide has been arranged, taking in such things as the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, the Wood Orchard Farm Market, Karin’s Garden and Cave Point. At the end of your busy day, you will experience the popular local Fish Boil for dinner and then a performance at the American Folklore Theatre.
