| Daily Itinerary: |

| Day 1 | You are on your way to the Texas Triangle. Your deluxe motorcoach takes you across Iowa, through a portion of Missouri and into the state of Kansas for your first overnight stop. Lodging is provided in Topeka and dinner is included this evening. | Dinner |

| Day 2 | After breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to head south, passing the city of Wichita and into Oklahoma. Your destination is the capital of Oklahoma City where this afternoon you have admission to the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Don’t miss the life-size western town and the American Cowboy Gallery. Dinner is on your own this evening in Brick Town, the renovated warehouse district. | Breakfast |

| Day 3 | Texas is on the horizon, but before leaving Oklahoma City, you stop at the National Memorial built in remembrance of the victims, survivors and rescuers of the Federal Building bombing in 1995. Your first glimpse of Texas will be this afternoon in the community of Grapevine, located just outside of Dallas. A local guide will join us for a brief riding tour of this historic and unique small Texas town, during which you will stop at the Main Street Bread Baking Company to make your own cookies. Check into your hotel for the next two nights, then conclude this day’s activities by relaxing and enjoying a wine tasting and dinner at one of Grapevine’s well known wineries. | Breakfast Dinner |

| Day 4 | Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then travel the short distance to Dallas for touring with a local guide. Included will be a stop at the Sixth Floor Exhibit which memorializes the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, as well as Pioneer Plaza and the West End Historic district. Lunch will be on your own. We arrive in Fort Worth by mid afternoon, just in time for the daily cattle drive through the Stockyards National Historic Site, once the largest livestock marketing center in the Southwest. You will have the remainder of the afternoon and early evening on your own to browse the shops, or engage in some of the optional activities such as the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, Texas Line Dancing or take a walk through the Cowtown Cattlepen Maze. We have included dinner at one of the fine eating places here before returning to Grapevine for the night. | Breakfast Dinner |

| Day 5 | After breakfast at the hotel, board the motorcoach and travel east to the Texas Coast. Pass the state’s largest city, Houston, on the way to the Johnson Space Center which tells the story of America’s manned space flight program. Try on a space helmet, touch a moon rock and land the space shuttle. Lunch is on your own here. By mid afternoon, you arrive in the seaport town of Galveston where, if time allows, you can visit the Strand Historic District and explore the many shops, galleries and museums on your own. This evening, we invite you to be onboard the paddle wheeler, The Colonel, for a dinner cruise on Galveston Bay. Overnight will be in Galveston. | Breakfast Dinner |

| Day 6 | Breakfast is served at the hotel, then board the Treasure Island Tour Train for a 17- mile journey that will feature the major points of interest in Galveston. You depart this area mid morning for the Star of central Texas and the third point on the Triangle, the city of San Antonio. Your first stop will be the famed Mexican Market where you will have time for shopping and can enjoy lunch on your own. A local guide will join us this afternoon for a complete tour of San Antonio with scheduled stops at the cradle of liberty, The Alamo, and the Buckhorn Saloon, offering you a look back at life in the old West. Check into your River Walk hotel for the next two nights before dining at one of the wonderful restaurants along the river. Later board a water taxi for an enjoyable ride on the Paseo Del Rio. The remainder of the evening is on your own to enjoy this fabulous area in a fabulous city. | Breakfast Dinner |

| Day 7 | We know you like breakfast, so there is one waiting for you at the hotel. You will need it as you are off on a full day of touring in what is known as the Texas Hill Country. It begins in Kerrville with a visit to a local artist who creates unique jewelry, then it’s on to Fredericksburg, a German community where you will have time to shop, enjoy lunch on your own and have the option of visiting the Nimitz Museum, dedicated to Admiral Nimitz. This afternoon, you visit the ranch of the 36th President, Lyndon Baines Johnson, near Johnson City for a guided tram tour.
We are in cowboy country, so we’ll stop in nearby Luckenback, Texas, where “Everybody is Somebody”, before arriving in New Braunfels to conclude our day with a cowboy country dinner & show. We return to San Antonio this evening.

| Day 8 | Your final day in Texas begins, like the others, with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Your deluxe motorcoach travels north toward Dallas, and along the way will make a stop in Waco, home to Baylor University. Here you have admission to the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum, tracing the history of the famed Rangers back to 1823. After lunch on your own, you arrive at DFW Airport in Dallas by mid afternoon for your return flight home, having completed the Texas Triangle. | Breakfast |
